Volunteer opportunities

Dear friends,

Christmas in the Village is coming up in Woodbridge on
Saturday November 29 (12:00–8:00 p.m.) and
Sunday November 30 (11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.),
and we would love your help.

We have two kinds of volunteer opportunities:

Shifts and timing

Event hours:

Saturday: 12:00–8:00 p.m.

Sunday: 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

We suggest 3-hour shifts, for example:

Saturday: 12–3, 3–6, 5–8

Sunday: 11–2, 2–5

If you prefer a shorter or longer shift, please let us know.

If you are helping out, please try to arrive 15 minutes early, so you can speak with the person you are replacing and get a quick update.

1. Volunteers at Wallace House

We are looking for volunteers to:

Greet visitors as they arrive

Invite people to become members

Ask if they would like to receive more information about Wallace House activities

We are aiming for 2 to 3 volunteers per shift inside Wallace House.
