Spirit of Nature

This series was inspired by a desire for peace and reconnection with nature during the isolating times of COVID, aiming to capture the essence of nature through photography.

The "Spirit of Nature" series was born during the restrictive times of COVID. I wanted to break the quarantine border by entering nature to breathe. I looked at nature as a place for relief. After being away for so long, I needed to reconnect with nature. I set out to discover the natural areas around me.

This journey enabled me to adapt to the COVID situation, to grow, change, or maybe let it go.

"Spirit of Nature" explores the nature around me from my point of view. Nature is a calming place, far from the density of people living and working in urban spaces. I saw nature as a place for relief.

For me, photography is a dialogue between my subconscious and my awareness; it's a non-verbal exchange between me and the world around me.

My goal is not to take beautiful nature pictures or to represent reality. These are somehow imaginary landscapes that meet the real world, but they aren't surreal either. Instead, I want to capture the soul beneath the surface; I try to paint the world from my point of view.

Each of us has a unique understanding of the world. I aim to capture the essence of nature and frame a composition that satisfies me. Emotions and my background as a painter play a significant role in this series.

I wish for everyone who views my works to dive deeper than just looking; I want them to really feel and connect with them, to listen with their eyes and touch with their hearts.

In this world of abstracts, I seek peace and quiet harmony; I want to discover beauty in the unexpected, that which is often missed.
